Alex studied Illustration at City of Glasgow College before moving on to Computer Arts at Abertay University. These courses allowed him to refine the foundational art skills he learned from traditional work and put a greater focus on stylised, imaginative work. In particular his award winning honours project “A Conversation with Death” gave him a clear vision of the kind of art he wanted to make, while also providing valuable lessons in his other passions, such as writing and game development.

At Shouty Knot, Alex uses all of these skills to create exciting projects both for clients and in house games.
